Twins at the plate: Delmon Young drove in two runs on sacrifice flies, and John Knott added a sac fly as well. Carlos Gomez went 2-for-4 and Brendan Harris was 2-for-3.

Cardinals at the plate: Albert Pujols stayed hot with two doubles and a single, raising his spring average to .400. Colby Rasmus laced a two-run triple in the fourth inning. Rick Ankiel doubled in a pinch-hit at-bat, and Aaron Miles rapped a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth.

Twins on the mound: Boof Bonser permitted three runs on six hits over five innings. He struck out one, walked one and got nine ground-ball outs. Nick Blackburn allowed two hits in two shutout innings, striking out two without a walk.

Cardinals on the mound: Kyle Lohse fared well in his Cardinals debut, allowing two runs on six hits in five innings. He struck out three and walked one batter. Jason Isringhausen, pitching on consecutive days for the first time this spring, struck out one and walked one in a hitless, scoreless seventh.

Grapefruit League records: Twins 12-11; Cardinals 12-10.

Up next for the Twins: Left-hander Francisco Liriano has two starts remaining this spring, but his outing on Sunday could likely determine whether he will break camp as part of the Twins' rotation. Liriano will face off against Orioles right-hander Matt Albers in the 12:05 p.m. CT start. Also scheduled to pitch for the Twins are right-handers Philip Humber, Joe Nathan, Jesse Crain and Pat Neshek.

Up next for the Cardinals: Todd Wellemeyer makes his final Grapefruit League start on Sunday as the Cardinals head up the coast to Port St. Lucie for a 1:05 p.m. ET game with the Mets. Wellemeyer will follow that with an appearance in the Cardinals' exhibition in Springfield, Mo., then he'll go in the season's third regular-season game.
