CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Rain forced the cancellation of Saturday's Grapefruit League game between the Phillies and Tigers at Bright House Field.The game was called in the top of the fourth inning, with the Tigers trailing, 1-0.
Detroit's Kenny Rogers surrendered one run in three frames, escaping a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the second inning by allowing just a sacrifice fly to Chris Coste.
Philadelphia right-hander Chad Durbin tossed three perfect frames against his former team, striking out two. The outing came against the Tigers' starting lineup, minus shortstop Edgar Renteria.
