ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves completed the 2010 First-Year Player Draft today by selecting 20 players in addition to the 31 selections from the first two days of the draft. Overall, the 51 draftees included 21 pitchers (17 right-handed, four left-handed), 16 infielders, eight outfielders and six catchers. Matt Lipka, a shortstop, was Atlanta's number one pick overall (35th selection overall) and was also one of 12 high school players chosen. The remaining 39 players drafted were chosen out of college.
