Max Ramirez hit a solo homer in the second, giving the Storm Chasers a 2-1 lead as they won the first of three in Memphis. Chris Getz was 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run. Justin Marks won a second straight start, limiting the Redbirds to a run on seven hits and a walk over 7.2 innings.
NW Arkansas Naturals (10-8 2nd half, 35-53 overall)
NW Arkansas 7, Frisco 3

Northwest Arkansas scored seven runs for a second straight game, taking two of three at Frisco. The Naturals batted around in the third, scoring five times to build a 6-0 lead. Whit Merrifield posted three hits and two RBI while Brett Eibner had three hits and a run. Brooks Pounders struck out eight, scattering two runs on three hits and four walks over 6.0 innings.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (10-7 2nd half, 43-44 overall)
Wilmington 8, Frederick 7 (10 innings)
WP: Andrew Triggs (5-2)
HR: Dennis Raben 2 (4, 5)
Wilmington won a thrilling series opener, scoring twice in the 10th to overcome a 7-6 deficit. Danny Mateo broke for third on a missed squeeze attempt and scored the winning run when the catcher's throw sailed into left field. Dennis Raben had a big night at the plate, hitting a pair of home runs and driving in five. Raben's two-run homer in the seventh forced extra innings.
Lexington Legends (11-5 2nd half, 44-40 overall)
The entire South Atlantic League had an off day on Monday. Lexington hosts Greensboro (Marlins) tonight.
Idaho Falls Chukars (6-12)
The Chukars were off before a Montana trip. They'll play four at Helena (Brewers), followed by three at Missoula (Diamondbacks).

Burlington moved into a tie for first in the East Division with a pair of wins against the Appalachian League's top team. Jake Newberry tossed 5.0 innings in game one, allowing a run on two hits and three walks. Ramon Torres was 2-for-4 with two RBI. Luis Santos fired a 7.0 inning shutout in game two, scattering five hits without a walk. Torres scored Burlington's first run and drove in the second.
Surprise Royals (6-10)
Arizona Giants 8, Surprise 7

HR: Angel Franco (1)
Surprise lost a back-and-forth game as the Giants scored three in the sixth. Angel Franco had the best game of his rehab assignment, finishing 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, a walk and two runs scored. Xavier Fernandez was 4-for-4 plus a walk, two RBI and a run. He's batting .571 (12-for-21).
