Astros Extend PDC with Quad Cities
The Houston Astros announced today that the club has extended its Player Development Contract (PDC) with the Class A Quad Cities River Bandits of the Midwest League.

On Thursday, Sept. 18, Astros Spanish broadcaster Alex Treviño will be inducted into the Houston Baseball Media Wall of Honor.
Astros to host three division rivals in upcoming homestand
The Astros will host two playoff contenders in the Oakland A's (August 26-27) and the LA Angels (September 2-3), as well as the in-state rival Texas Rangers (August 28-31) for a nine-game, 10-day homestand beginning on Monday. The Astros are currently 12-11 since July 28 and have taken series victories from both the A's and the Rangers in that span.

Astros take on in-state rival Texas Rangers in upcoming homestand
The Astros will host the in-state rival Texas Rangers for a three-game set this weekend, August 8-10. This marks the first time the two teams have met since the Astros swept the Rangers in Arlington this past July. The two teams will meet again for four games in Houston at the end of this month from August 28-31. The Astros will also host the Minnesota Twins for a three-game set, August 11-13.
