The New York Mets today announced that they have placed infielders Lucas Duda (hyperextended left elbow) and Wilmer Flores (right knee infection) on the 10-Day Disabled List.
Mets Make Roster Moves
The New York Mets announced today that they have activated RHP Jeurys Familia from the Restricted List, recalled catcher Kevin Plawecki from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned RHP Rafael Montero and LHP Sean Gilmartin to Las Vegas. Plawecki will wear #26 and will be available for tonight's game. In addition, to make room on the 40-man roster, the Mets transferred infielder David Wright to the 60-Day Disabled List.

The New York Mets today announced the return of the popular "Strikeouts for Savings" promotion when the Mets visit the Philadelphia Phillies and Miami Marlins this week. For each strikeout Mets pitchers record against the Phillies and Marlins, fans will save 1% off the box office ticket price for select seats during the Mets' April 18-27 homestand at Citi Field when they host the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Nationals, and Atlanta Braves.
Mets set Opening Day roster
The New York Mets today announced that the club has selected the contract of infielder Ty Kelly and placed the following players on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to March 30: outfielder Juan Lagares (left oblique), RHP Seth Lugo (right elbow inflammation), LHP Steven Matz (left elbow inflammation), outfielder Brandon Nimmo (right hamstring) and infielder David Wright (cervical disc herniation). In addition, RHP Jeurys Familia was placed on the Restricted List.
Mets exhibition game vs. Army cancelled
The New York Mets have announced that tomorrow's 1:10 p.m. exhibition game against Army West Point has been cancelled due to Friday's weather forecast. It will not be rescheduled as Army has Patriot League games this Saturday and Sunday vs. Lafayette in Easton, Pa.

Mets to Host Exhibition Game March 31 vs. Army at Citi Field
The New York Mets announced today that the previously scheduled exhibition game at West Point Friday, March 31 has been relocated to Citi Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. The change of venue follows last week's snow storm in the Hudson Valley which impacted the playing field at West Point.
