Pirates Agree to Terms with Six 2010 Draft Selections
The Pittsburgh Pirates agreed to terms with the following six selections from this year's First-Year Player Draft

Justin Bencsko
Batted .356 (69-for-194) with 31 RBI and 24 stolen bases in 50 games as a senior this season. Is a graduate of Pequan- nock High School, where he lettered four years in baseball and soccer, plus three in basketball. Received all-county and all- conference honors in baseball while earning Associated Press All-State second team accolades.

Matt Skirving
Made 55 appearances (53 starts) for Eastern Michigan this season...Hit .259 with six home runs and 28 RBI...Led team with 17 doubles...Batted .348 in 54 starts with 16 homers (fifth in MAC) and a team-leading 64 RBI in 2009...Earned first-team All-MAC and first-team All-Region accolades as a designated hitter in 2009...Was a three-year letterwinner at H.H. Dow High School, where he was selected to the MHSAA All-Region and All-District teams his junior and senior years...Was selected to the All-State team as a junior and All-State Dream Team as a senior.

Chase Lyles
Senior third baseman/shortstop earned All-SLC second team honors after hitting .350 for the season with seven home runs and a team-high 56 RBI...Set a single-season school record with 34 stolen bases this season, and set a single-game record with four swipes in a game...Hit .362 with a team-high 14 home runs and 47 RBI (second-best on the team) in 2009...Also led team with 55 runs scored, two triples, 135 total bases, 27 walks, 17 stolen bases and 51 games played as a junior...Led team with 20 stolen bases in 23 at- tempts as a sophomore in 2008.

Justin Ennis
Was a perfect 12-0 during the 2010 season for the Pilots...Ranked fifth in the NAIA in wins and ranked 18th in the NAIA in strikeouts (92)...Tied for the team lead in innings pitched with 94.2...Also led LSU in wins and ERA (2.85) this season...Was a Pre-Season All American selection in the NAIA in addition to earning a spot on the Pre-Season All Gulf Coast Athletic Con- ference Team...Was also named to the First Team All GCAC...After just three seasons he is currently second on the all-time career win list at LSUS with 28 and fourth on the all-time career innings pitched list with 274.1.

Kelson Brown
Hit a team-best .443 (third-best all time at Linfield) while setting club records for hits (89) doubles (27), RBI (72) and total bases (147) while leading the Wildcats to a school-record 37 wins...Played and started all 50 games at shortstop...Was a first team ABCA All-America shortstop as a senior and recently led Linfield to within two victories of the NCAA Division III na- tional championship...Named West Region and Northwest Conference Player-of-the-Year...Is a graduate of La Cañada High School in La Cañada, CA, on the northwest outskirts of Los Angeles, where he was a two-time Rio Honda League All-Star.

Kevin Decker
Went 8-0 with a 3.78 ERA (81.0ip/34er) and 67 strikeouts in 17 games (11starts) as a senior this season...Also played two years at Seminole Community College before moving on to the College of Charleston...Attended Washington High School in Washington, IN, where he was a four-year starter on the school's baseball team from 2003-06...Was also a member of Washington basketball team that won State Championship in 2005.

Pirates Sign Kevin Mort As Non-Drafted Free Agent
Hit .284 (67-for-236) with 11 doubles, two home runs and 23 RBI in 63 games this year as a senior at the University of Mis- sissippi...Began his collegiate career at Rio Hondo College, where he was a two-time all-conference selection...Was named to the 2008 All Southern California Team...Hit .388 with 26 RBI and 14 doubles as a sophomore.
