Pirates sign two players
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

The Pirates have signed their 41st round selection from the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, Jonathan Schwind.

In addition, the club has signed LHP Robert Kilcrease, an undrafted player from Texas Tech.

Schwind, 21, was drafted as a catcher, but played six different positions during his career with Marist College. He led Marist in runs scored (47) and doubles (15) while hitting .287 with five home runs and 32 RBI this past season and started 164 of the 166 games during his three-year career.

The 22-year-old Kilcrease went 5-3 with a 5.97 ERA (63.1ip/42er) in 17 games (12 starts) with Texas Tech as a red-shirt Junior this past season, leading the team in starts. In his three-year career, he posted a 10-4 record in 58 games (18 starts).
