CLEVELAND, OH --- The Cleveland Indians today announced the introduction of the Indians Rally Alley street festival taking place July 22 & 23 and July 29 & 30 from 4:30PM-7:30PM in conjunction with the Tribe hosting Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals respectively on those dates. This inaugural urban street festival at Progressive Field will deliver value-based ballpark fare, live entertainment and grant free access to the public.

"Creating memories for our fans and the community is a priority for us as an organization," said Indians President Mark Shapiro. "With this in mind, we are introducing the concept of the Indians Rally Alley street festival aimed to extend the fun and exciting atmosphere of Progressive Field out onto Eagle Avenue directly behind the Time Warner Cable Bleachers. This unique event, scheduled on four select dates this summer, will further enhance the value of attending an Indians game by offering affordable food and beverage options and quality pregame entertainment that is free and open to the public."

The Indians will extend the ballpark experience to allow fans the opportunity to enjoy the Rally Alley's many value-based food and free family-friendly entertainment options including: magicians, jugglers, stilt walkers, balloon artists and more.

On July 22 and 23, fans will also enjoy the sounds of the beach in this urban oasis with steel drum performances from PANORAMA and SHADES OF STEEL to complement the Tribe's annual Beach weekend activities on the plaza featuring the band FINS TO THE LEFT.

Indians Rally Alley returns on July 29 and July 30 to showcase live performances from recording artist AARON LAFETTE and KISS FM's DJ E-V. July 29 and 30 festivities are also highlighted by the Tribe's biggest fireworks shows of the year post-game, Rock N' Blast, celebrating Cleveland and its rich Rock 'n' Roll history.

Admission to the Indians Rally Alley is FREE. Discounted food and beverage options will be available on Eagle Avenue until 6:30PM. Purchase and consumption of alcohol will be available inside Progressive Field for game ticketed fans only. All consumption of alcohol must take place within Progressive Field. Game ticket allows exit and re-entry into the ballpark for fans who wish to view batting practice, consume alcohol and enjoy Indians Rally Alley.
