Bucs take it day by day with Gorzelanny
Lefty fighting back tightness after Wednesday's outing

Gorzelanny is scheduled to throw his between-starts bullpen session on Friday, which will provide him with a gauge of how he is doing, though manager John Russell said that any plans were tentative at this point.
"It's one of those things we'll monitor over the next few days," Russell said. "If something changes, we'll re-evaluate."
Gorzelanny's next start would normally fall on Monday, but the team has that day off after a weekend series with the Nationals. He's scheduled to start on Tuesday on five days' rest.
"He's still expected to make his next start," Russell said. "With the off-day coming up, it gives us more flexibility on what to do."
Russell emphasized that it was just back tightness, nothing more serious.
Gorzelanny left Wednesday's game with the Mets in the fifth inning with the Bucs up 8-0 at the time. They went on to win, 13-1.
Gorzelanny was bothered by a pitch he threw in the fifth inning, and his back remained tight as he finished the frame. The lefty experienced a similar problem in his April 13 start, against Cincinnati.
