Michaels' slam: Free Wednesday tickets
27-run output over series ensures 2,500 free seats for fans

The organization had set aside 2,500 seats in both left and right field, regularly priced at $24 apiece, as part of a unique promotion where with every run the Pirates scored in this four-game series against the Cardinals, $1 would be taken off that ticket price.
The Pirates followed up a four-run output in Friday's series opener with 14 runs scored on Saturday and four more on Sunday to lower the price per ticket to just $2 heading into Monday's contest. With Michaels' grand slam, the Pirates surpassed the 24-run mark, meaning that all of the tickets designated as a part of the promotion will now be available for free.
Now for the important details: All of these discounted tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday morning. They will be available for purchase only through Pirates.com, and there is a cap set at eight tickets per customer.
