Pirates 2014 game time changes
Pirates Announce Game Time Changes for Several Games in 2014 to Accommodate National Television

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today four home game time changes throughout the 2014 season starting with Opening Day at PNC Park on Monday, March 31.
The 2014 Opening Day contest vs. the Chicago Cubs was originally scheduled for a 1:35 p.m. first pitch and will now be moved to 1:05 p.m. to accommodate the ESPN national telecast. The game will also be carried on ROOT Sports.
The Sunday, May 11 contest vs. the St. Louis Cardinals has been selected by ESPN for its exclusive National Sunday Night Baseball telecast. As a result the first pitch will move from 1:35 p.m. to 8:05 p.m. This will mark the Pirates first appearance on the Sunday night showcase from PNC Park.
Two additional games will experience a change in first pitch times. Saturday, May 24 vs. the Washington Nationals has changed from 4:05 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. as the game was chosen for an exclusive FOX national telecast. The Saturday, August 30 game vs. the Cincinnati Reds has moved from 7:05 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. and will be telecast nationally on Fox Sports 1, with ROOT Sports also having the ability to carry the divisional match-up.
Due to the later game time change, the Saturday, August 30 Skyblast featuring Gavin DeGraw will now be a Fan Jam concert presented by Highmark. The Pirates will announce an additional Zambelli Fireworks Night to be added to the schedule at a later date.
