Pirates' lead washed away
Cubs 8, Pirates 6
Starter Tony Armas allowed two runs on six hits in six innings. (Gene J. Puskar/AP)
 Paulino's dinger
The Bucs pounced on the Cubs early, and Ronny Paulino's homer gave the Bucs a three-run lead in the fourth inning. But after Tony Armas' strong start, and before rain suspended the game until the next day, the bullpen gave up four runs in the seventh to lose the lead and the contest.
