PNC Park The Pittsburgh Pirates are constantly looking for ways to improve PNC Park to ensure Pittsburgh remains home to the Best Ballpark in America.

The following is a breakdown of some of the enhancements that have been made in preparation for the 2008 season.

  PNC Park Enhancements:

Trib Total Media Hall of Fame Club - This new restaurant at PNC Park is located in the left field space that was formerly occupied by Outback Steakhouse. It offers a casual dining and sports bar atmosphere with wait service before, during and after every home game for all ticket holders. Prominently featured in the space are bronze plaques paying tribute to all Pirates Hall of Fame members. Learn more now »

Electronic Point of Sale Purchase System - Fans will now be able to use their credit or debit card when making a purchase at any concession and merchandise stand in PNC Park. This technology upgrade was made as an added convenience for fans and will help speed up the purchase process.

All You Can Eat Seats - For all Pirates home games, All You Can Eat seats will be available for purchase ranging from $35-$40 depending on time of purchase. Menu items available for all you can eat include: hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, salads, popcorn, peanuts, ice cream and soda. The North Shore Refreshments stand on the Riverwalk will be exclusively dedicated to the All You Can Eat section, ensuring a "speed line" approach. Learn more now »

Premium Seating Televisions - The Pirates have upgraded the more than 220 televisions throughout the premium seating areas with new, flat screen Sony televisions.

Lexus Club Seating - New, larger seats with extra padding and a cup holder built into every armrest will replace the previous seats in the Lexus Club.

Pirates Outfitters - The official Pirates team store, which is adjacent to the Left Field Willie Stargell gate, has been completely renovated and will now include for sale a variety of Pirates game-used items in addition to regular Pirates merchandise. The Pirates Outfitters store located inside the ballpark on the main concourse has also been completely renovated.

Press Box Windows - Windows have been added to the press box to ensure a climate controlled environment for all media and press box staff. The bottom half of the windows can be remotely raised and lowered based on weather conditions.

Bucco Bricks - The Bucco Bricks on the sidewalk behind home plate are being replaced with new bricks. It is the final phase of a two-year project to replace all of the Bucco Bricks around the ballpark to ensure the quality of the original message engravings is maintained.

  New Food Choices:

General Concessions (ARAMARK):
Select concession stands throughout the ballpark will be offering veggie burgers, Philly Cheese Steaks, Lipton Green Tea, Gatorade, Aquafina-Flavor Splash and Sobe Life Water.

Premium Seat Area Concessions (Levy Restaurants):
Club 3000 - This season three to five new brews will be introduced that will complement the already extensive list of 21 beer varieties.

Bucs Wok - This new stand in the PBC Level will feature Asian cuisine including Honey Cumin Chicken Skewers, Mongolian Beef Skewers, Kung Pao Chicken, Sizzling Beef Stir Fry, Vegetable Pot Stickers, Crispy Pork Pot Stickers, Asian Nachos and Frozen Mango Tea.

Bierbauers - The choice food offerings in this concession stand have been expanded to include a BBQ beef brisket sandwich and frozen kids cocktails.

PBC Grill - In addition to the traditional favorites such as the buffalo chicken sandwich, Pittsburgh Slugger and cheddar cheeseburger, the all new veggie burger will be offered.

Score Amore - Food offerings at this stand have also been expanded to include an Italian Steak flatbread sandwich, homemade pizzas and chicken calzones.

Gunners Sausage - This restaurant located on the PBC level will offer a new hot Italian sausage, Gunners half-pound dog and a 30-plus mega toppings station, the largest of any MLB venue.

Sweet Treats - This new dessert action station will offer Sweet Shots, candied apples and bags of assorted candy.

Other Action Stations - The following action stations will appear in a rotation throughout the season:
• PNC Prime - This new action station will exclusively offer prime rib sandwiches.
• Field of Greens - This new action stand will offer custom salads to order.
• Arriba - The new action station will offer Mexican food items such as fajitas.

Lexus Club - New items offered to these seat holders include: the Lexus Club Sandwich, boneless wings, a variety of ice cream novelties, fruit smoothies and hot chocolate or lemonade (depending on weather conditions).

World Series Suites - The food choice offerings have been expanded to include a wider variety of menus to choose from on a given night in these rented suites, ranging from tuna sashimi stacks to organic Israeli toasted couscous to classic mashed potatoes. Learn more now »
