PNC Park Tours

The Pirates invite you to tour PNC Park, the home of the Bucs. PNC Park is located on Pittsburgh's North Shore along the Allegheny River, in a street block between Federal Street, General Robinson Street and Mazeroski Way.

Our interactive tour will give guests a broad view of the 38,000-seat facility with its classic view of the city's picturesque skyline.

In 2013, tours run from April 15th through September 20th.

  • Tour Details

    • PNC Park Tours will be conducted from April 15, 2013 through September 20, 2013.
    • Tours are given Monday through Friday and select Saturdays on both gamedays and non-game days.
    • Saturday dates: May 4, June 1, June 29, July 13, August 3, August 31
    • There are no tours held on days of an afternoon Pirates game or on holidays.
    • Individuals, families and groups smaller than 25 may purchase tickets online or at the Main Ticket Window at the corner of Federal and General Robinson Streets. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted at the Main Box Office.
    • Groups of 25 or more must make reservations and be paid in full 10 days prior to the scheduled tour.
    • The tour will take you through all areas of this ultimate ballpark. We will combine baseball facts and Pirates fun to make your tour an exciting one!
      Some of the attractions you may visit during this comprehensive tour include:

    • THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED INTO THE CLUBHOUSE: BAGS OF ANY KIND (PURSE, DIAPER BAG, BACKPACK, ETC.), CAMERAS, VIDEO CAMERAS, or CELL PHONES.
    • Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes; however, please allow yourself two hours to be at the ballpark.
    • This is a walking tour (approximately 1.5 miles), so please dress accordingly.
    • Tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs are available upon request. Please call ahead.
    • All tour dates, times and tour highlights are subject to change without notice.
    • All tours begin at the Willie Stargell Statue Gate (located on Federal Street).

    Groups* (25 or more) $5.00

    *Groups of 25 or more receive the group discount rate of $5 per person, with a waiver for 1 chaperone per 12 students.

      • May 29th at 10am
      • May 30th at 10am
      • June 5th at 10am and 12pm
    TIMES:
    • Game day tours are offered at 10am and 12pm.
    • Saturday tour times are 10am, 11am, and 12pm, except on May 4th when there will be no 12pm tour due to the 4:05pm game time start.
    • Non-game day tours are offered at 10am and 12pm during April, May and September. During June, July and August they are offered at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
    • No Tours on days of afternoon games, holidays, special events or on Sundays.

  • Tour Tickets

    Individuals, families and groups smaller than 25 may purchase tickets online or at the Main Ticket Window at the corner of Federal and General Robinson Streets. The Window is open from 9am to 2pm on the day of the tour. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted at the Main Box Office. All Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

  • Group Tours

    Group Tours will be offered for organizations with 25-200 persons. Schools and organizations with more than 50 person will be divided into smaller groups to ensure all members of the group enjoy the tour. The maximum number per group is 200 persons.

    Group tours are offered Monday through Friday at 10am and 12pm on game days, and at 10am, 12pm and 2pm on non-game days.

    Group tours are also offered to groups on select Saturdays throughout the season:

    • MAY 4 - 10am, 11am, and 12pm
    • JUNE 1 - 10am, 11am, and 12pm
    • JUNE 29 - 10am, 11am and 12pm
    • JULY 13 - 10am, 11am and 12pm
    • AUGUST 3 - 10am, 11am and 12pm
    • AUGUST 31 - 10am, 11am and 12pm

    Groups of 25 or more receive the group discount rate of $5 per person, with a waiver for 1 chaperone per 12 students.

    Group tours must make a reservation and must be paid in full 10 days prior to the scheduled tour or the tour is subject to cancellation. You can call (412) 325-4700 or e-mail pncparktours@pirates.com to check availability and to make reservations. There are no refunds for cancellations, the tour can be rescheduled. Please make checks payable to: Pittsburgh Associates. Please do not send cash payments via the mail. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted.

    LUNCH PROGRAM: Would you like to enjoy a lunch at PNC PARK? PNC Park and Aramark are offering a lunch program for the tour groups of 25 or more people.

    You may choose from the following:

    • Menu #1: Whole Pizza Pie - $10.00, One 12 cut Pizza plain or pepperoni
    • Menu #2: Hot Dog - $10.00, One Hot Dog served with ketchup and mustard packets
    • Menu #3: PB&J - $10.00, One Uncrustable PB&J sandwich
    • Menu #4: Turkey Sandwich - $11.00, Turkey sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato
    • Menu #5: Ham Sandwich - $11.00, Ham sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato
    • Menu #6: Vegetable Wrap - $11.00, Seasonal roasted and grilled vegetable in a flour wrap

    ALL MENU OPTIONS ARE SERVED WITH: Drink, Chips and a Cookie
    ** Free chaperone wanting lunch will be $5 or $6 per person **

    THE ABOVE PRICES INCLUDE THE LUNCH AND TOUR.

    OPTIONAL: One piece of whole fruit may be added to any lunch option for an additional charge. Options of Apple, Orange or Banana. Seasonal availability may affect quality and or price.

  • Tour Parking

    For your convenience, buses may park on North Shore Drive (west of PNC Park). There is a drop-off location along General Robinson Street near Federal Street.

    Private cars and vans will need to park in a pay lot anywhere surrounding PNC Park or at the Allegheny Center Parking Garage (two blocks from PNC Park), or at the metered street parking. Lot rates typically range from $6 to $10.

    Buses/Vans may drop-off on General Robinson or Mazeroski Way.

    NO drop-offs will be allowed on Federal Street.
