The Pittsburgh Pirates would like to invite you to join us for our 2012 Awareness Series. The Pirates will partner with different non-profit service agencies throughout the region to host special events to raise funds and awareness for their specific cause.
Each organization will generate revenue through the sale of Pirates tickets for their cause and will utilize PNC Park to promote their organization's message.

The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter is the leading organization addressing issues related to Alzheimer's disease in 59 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties. The Association is a voluntary health organization dedicated to finding preventions, treatments and eventually a cure for Alzheimer's and related dementias.

The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation offers support to all sufferers of mitochondrial disorders regardless of diagnosis, suspected or confirmed. Our mission is to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitochondrial disorders and to provide support to affected individuals and families.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Imagine a disease that affects 26 million Americans. Now imagine that it is preventable. The NKFALL serves patients and families in western Pennsylvania and West Virginia through programs like free kidney health screenings (KEEP); patient, professional, and public education; research; advocacy; direct patient assistance; and organ donor awareness activities.

Autism Speaks, Pittsburgh Chapter is dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.

Our mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. We support research, education programs, and community-building opportunities for the 28,000 children and adults suffering with digestive diseases in our Chapter region.

The mission of the Remi Savioz Glut1 Foundation (RSG1) is to fund research, awareness and education of Glucose Transporter Type 1 Deficiency Syndrome (Glut1 DS), Glucose Transporters and Glucose Metabolism which affect the treatment of cancers, Alzheimer's, epilepsy and diabetes.

The National Alopecia Areta Foundation is an organization that provides information and services to those impacted by this disease. Alopecia Areta is a common autoimmune skin disease resulting in hair loss on the scalp and elsewhere. Alopecia Areata affects approximately two percent of the population overall, including more than 5 million people around US.
