Ticket Policies

Child Admittance:

PNC Park offers complimentary admission to children under 30" in height. However, we do request that these children sit in their parent or guardian's lap and not occupy an additional seat. Promotional giveaway items are only available for ticketed guests. Children's tickets (those over 30" in height) are priced the same as adult tickets.

Exchanges:

There are no exchanges once a game ticket has been purchased.

Season Tickets are subject to exchanges based on the terms of your Season Ticket package and membership level, subject to availability. Tickets must be exchanged at least 48 hours in advance of the game date for which they were intended. Please call the Pirates Season Ticket Services Department at 1-800-274-2827 for more information.

Lost/stolen game tickets:

Please remember that game tickets are like money and should be secured like cash. If game tickets are lost or stolen, please phone the Pirates Ticket Office at 1-800-BUY-BUCS or 412-321-BUCS.

If your season tickets are stolen, you must file a police report and submit a copy to the Pirates, so that your tickets can be reprinted free-of-charge. Call the Season Ticket Service Department at 1-800-274-2827 for more information and assistance. If you should lose any of your season tickets during the year, the Pirates will reprint them at no charge on two (2) occasions. If tickets are lost a third time during the year, you will need to pay the face value of your season ticket to have it reprinted. If the season ticket is recovered and returned to the Pirates within two weeks of the game date, your money for the reprinting will be refunded.

Rain Checks:

In the event that 5 innings of one game are not played, except when the Pirates are in the lead at the end of 4.5 innings, one of the following Rain Check policies will apply:

  1. When the cancelled game is rescheduled on an open date or as part of a split (day-night) doubleheader, the Rain Check will be valid for entry to the rescheduled game only.
  2. When the cancelled game is rescheduled onto an existing game, thereby creating a doubleheader, or if the cancelled game is not rescheduled, the Rain Check may be exchanged for any future regular season game at the value stated.

Rain Check exchanges are subject to availability and all service charges or differences in value are non-refundable. Rain Checks may be redeemed in person either at the Pirates Ticket Office or by mailing them to the Pittsburgh Pirates Ticket Office, P.O. Box 7000, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Complimentary tickets may not be exchanged under any circumstances. For more information, please call (412) 321-BUCS.

Refunds:

There are no refunds once a game ticket has been purchased.

Resale/scalping:

The Ticket Reselling Area is located between PNC Park and Heinz Field, at the corner of Dorsett Way and North Shore Drive (near the new Del Monte office building). Pirates ticket holders can sell any extra tickets they may have in this area. No other ticket reselling or "scalping" will be permitted near PNC Park and Heinz Field. Fans can only resell tickets in the specified Ticket Reselling Area.

Licensed ticket scalpers wanting to buy/sell tickets can do so outside the perimeter established by the new regulation. The boundaries of the perimeter are Ridge Avenue (north), Fontella Street and North Shore Drive (west), Point State Park and the southern sidewalk of Fort Duquesne Boulevard (south) and Anderson Street (east).
