What is the Exchange Policy?

We are happy to allow our Season Ticket Holders the opportunity to exchange their future game tickets, dollar for dollar for any game excluding those games that are not available for exchange. Tickets may not be exchanged for Lexus Club and Club Cambria, unless you are a Lexus Club or Club Cambia Season Ticket Holder. Pirates Cove and All You Can Eat Seats are also not available for exchange. Only tickets from the original Season Ticket subscription can be exchanged. Single game tickets and group tickets purchased in addition to your Season Ticket Plan are not eligible for exchange. For your protection, only the Season Ticket Holder on record may make an exchange.

If I missed a game, can I still exchange those tickets?

Yes. We are happy to exchange your unused tickets from past games for any Sunday - Thursday home games, excluding Opening Day. You may exchange your unused tickets for tickets in the same price category. Example, if you missed a game, and you have 2 Season Tickets in the Bleacher Reserved, you may exchange for 2 tickets in Bleacher Reserved section for a Sunday - Thursday game.

How do I make an exchange?

We offer you the convenience of processing your exchange in one of the following ways:

  1. NEW - Online Season Ticket Exchange »
  2. Send the tickets in the mail, along with instructions for the exchange, to Pittsburgh Pirates, 115 Federal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
  3. Stop by our main ticket office at PNC Park.
  4. Stop by the Season Ticket Holder VIP Room on Pirates home game days. The VIP Room is located on the Corner of Federal Street and West General Robinson Street.

Are there any games not eligible for exchange?

For the 2012 season, we are pleased to allow our STH's to exchange into 71 of our 81 home games.

The following games are not available for exchange:

  • April 5 vs. Philadelphia Phillies - Opening Day
  • April 7 vs. Philadelphia Phillies - Fireworks
  • June 9 vs. Kansas City Royals - Postgame Concert
  • June 23 vs. Detroit Tigers - Replica Cap
  • July 7 vs. San Francisco Giants - Postgame Concert
  • July 21 vs. Miami Marlins - Fireworks
  • August 11 vs. San Diego Padres - Skyblast
  • August 25 vs. Milwaukee Brewers - Fireworks
  • September 8 vs. Chicago Cubs - Fireworks
  • September 29 vs. Cincinnati Reds - Skyblast

What is the Season Ticket Holder ID Card?

This card allows you early access into the ballpark Monday - Saturday. It also may be presented in the Pirates Majestic Clubhouse store to receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchases of $75 or more (excluding sale items, authentic or game used items, personalization or publications).

How can I use my discount at the Majestic Clubhouse Store?

Present this card at the time of purchase to receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchases of $75 or more at the Majestic Clubhouse Store on Federal Street. Discount not valid on sale items, authentic or game used items, personalization or publications.

What is the gate policy on game days and where do I enter early?

The Pittsburgh Pirates will now open PNC Park 30 minutes earlier for all Pirates Season Ticket Holders prior to all Monday through Saturday night games. The change means Season Ticket Holders will now have access to the park a full hour prior to gates opening to the general public. To gain access two hours and thirty minutes prior to game time, simply show your Season Ticket Holder card or have your season ticket scanned.

The 2012 PNC Park gate times for Season Ticket Holders only are as follows:

  • For Monday through Friday night games, Season Ticket Holders may enter the ballpark and into the Left Field Bleachers 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to game time.
  • On Saturday night games, Season Ticket Holders are permitted to enter into the Left Field Bleachers and main concourse 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to game time.
  • Early access is granted by entering through the Riverwalk Gate (Clemente/Centerfield gate) and proceeding to the bullpen gates where Season Ticket Holders can then show their Season Ticket Holder card or have their season ticket scanned.
  • Season Ticket Holder early entry is not valid for day games (12:35pm, 1:35pm and 4:05pm).

How do I redeem my Food & Beverage / Clubhouse Store credit?

Season Ticket Holders, 20 game plans and above, receive the following Food & Beverage and Majestic Clubhouse Store credit based on your investment level:

  • Premium: $100
  • Tier 1: $75
  • Tier 2: $50
  • Tier 3: $25

What tier am I? In order to redeem this value, we ask that you contact your Season Ticket Service Representative. Once you confirm your game date, your concession value will electronically be loaded on your ticket. It can be added in $5 increments with a maximum of $25 per ticket. Food & Beverage/Majestic Clubhouse Store Credit that is not spent on the game date that you choose will be forfeited. All credit must be requested at least 24 hours in advance of your desired game.

What is the Season Ticket Holder VIP Room and when is it open?

In an effort to provide our Season Ticket Holders with the best possible service on game days, we've created our Season Ticket Holder VIP Room. A Season Ticket Services representative can assist Season Ticket Holders with any needs you may have regarding your account.

The VIP Room is located on the Corner of Federal Street and West General Robinson Street. It is open two hours prior to all home games until the conclusion of the 3rd inning for night and Sunday games. For day games Monday-Friday, the VIP Room will close at the conclusion of the 3rd inning and reopen at the end of the game for 30 minutes. Please note that the Season Ticket Holder VIP Room is not accessible from inside the ballpark, so feel free to visit us prior to entering the gates.

May I prepay for parking?

Yes. Prior to April 1, 2012, you may pre-purchase parking through your Season Ticket Service representative. After April 1, 2012, you must purchase directly from ALCO Parking Corporation. The following lots are available near PNC Park for Season Ticket plan purchase only:

  • Red 5A is for fulls only
  • Red 5 and Blue 10 garages are for fulls, halfs, and partials

If you pre-purchase your Season plan parking through your Pirates Season Ticket Service Representative, you will receive the passes with your Season Tickets. Parking passes are subject to availability and are not exchangeable or available for purchase on an individual game basis through the Pirates.
