Mini Camps

Texas Rangers Mini Camp is available for children ages 4-6 YEARS OLD.* Mini Camp provides an opportunity for the youngest baseball players to become familiar with the basics of the game. Basic skills include hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running.

Each Mini Camp is limited to 40 participants.

All-Skills Camps

Texas Rangers All-Skills Camp is available for children ages 7-12 YEARS OLD.* All-Skills Camp is ideal for young players who may not have much experience in the game but are eager to learn more. All-Skills Camp will allow players to learn and sharpen baseball fundamentals.

Each All-Skills Camp is limited to 50 participants.

Texas Rangers Advanced-Skills Camp is available for children ages 9-12 YEARS OLD.* Advanced Skills Camp is not intended for players who are new to baseball. Advanced Skills Camp is designed to give players the opportunity to sharpen mental and physical baseball fundamentals. Players will engage in skill work pertaining to hitting, fielding, throwing, bunting, base running, and more.

Each Advanced Skills Camp is limited to 40 participants.

Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark Home Run Derby

Sign up your All-Star to swing for the fences during the 3rd Annual Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark Home Run Derby on Saturday, July 6.

Participants will hit off a pitching machine and will be allowed two practice pitches, followed by 5 outs. There are no bat restrictions for this derby. The winner of each group will win a pair of tickets to a regular season home game of their choice in August, excluding August 16-18 and August 30-31, subject to availability.

The Derby is open to sluggers ages 6-9 and ages 9-12.

Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to your age group's time slot:

  • Ages 6-9: 8 - 9:30 a.m.
  • Ages 9-12: 10 - 11:30 a.m.

Register today for $15 per participant. Limited to the first 30 participants to register, per age group.

Family Day at the Youth Ballpark

Join us for Family Day at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark on Sunday, July 21. Family Day consists of a two-hour clinic with baseball drills focused on honing the necessary skills to perfect your game. This event is open to adults and children, 6 years and older. After the clinic, make the short walk to Rangers Ballpark to watch the Rangers take on the Orioles at 6:05 p.m. Family Day tickets are $35 and include the clinic and a ticket to the Rangers game.

Timeline of Events:

  • Check in begins at 2:30 p.m.
  • Family Day at Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark: 3 - 5 p.m.
  • Orioles vs. Rangers First Pitch: 6:05 p.m.

Big League Camp Experience

Experience the Big Leagues when you register your ball player for the Big League Camp Experience, August 6-8. Camp is open to players between 8 and 16 years of age. Participants have the opportunity to engage in skill work on the Major League Field at Rangers Ballpark, take swings in the Rangers batting cages, and throw in the home and visiting bullpens from 8 - 11 a.m. each day.

Big League Camp Experience Price: $250

Participation is limited to the first 65 participants.

Rangers Labor Day Clinics

Monday, September 2, the Rangers will host two clinics at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark. Brush off the dust from summer baseball and gear up for fall ball.

Location and Facility

Each camp is conveniently located at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark on the north side of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington:

Parking is available in parking Lot N, located on the corner of Nolan Ryan Expressway and Legends Way.

Camp Check-in

Camp check-in is mandatory each session of camp and opens 30 minutes prior to the start of camp.

Equipment

All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Necessary equipment includes baseball glove, baseball helmet, baseball bat, and a water bottle. Metal cleats are not allowed at the Youth Ballpark, participants should wear turf/tennis shoes. Please label your equipment prior to arriving at camp. For the safety of our participants, soft-touch balls are used at all camps.

Camps & Clinics Rain Policy

Rain or shine, the show must go on! If it is raining, please bring your camper to the Home Plate gate at Rangers Ballpark.

Family Day Rain Policy

If the Family Day event is canceled due to inclement weather, you will receive a full refund. All communication will be sent through the email address provided at registration.

Camps & Clinics Cancellations/Refunds

No refunds or cancellations within one week from the start of the selected camp. All cancellations made prior to the one week window are assessed a $75 fee. Any change requests are subject to a $25 fee. Cost of camp does not include overnight accommodations.

Family Day Cancellations/Refunds

No refunds or cancellations within one week from Family Day. All cancellations are assessed a $15 fee.
