Four other pitchers tossed one-hitters in May, but Shelby Miller's one-hit wonder against the Rockies was voted the month's best pitching performance by fans at MLB.com. Miller garnered 51 percent of the vote, edging fellow rookie Matt Harvey of the Mets for the monthly honor. The right-handed Miller retired the final 27 men he faced on May 10, finishing his masterpiece with a whopping 13 whiffs and no walks allowed.
