Dream Gala 2010

"It's Time to Play" was the theme of Dream Gala 2010, and the sentiment was apparent throughout the evening. The décor featured playful takes on Nationals Park with tufts of grass dotting the silent auction display tables and faux "Center Field Gates" leading into the ballroom where the guests' tables ringed a miniature Astroturf baseball diamond! Presented by the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, the gala is the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation's largest annual fundraiser.

At this year's event, the crowd was treated to the energetic antics of the Racing Presidents and Nats mascot Screech, as well as an informational and entertaining video about the work of the Dream Foundation. Guests mingled with the players and coaches during the cocktail reception and the dinner that followed in the lovely Potomac Ballroom of the Gaylord, and the event concluded with a rollicking after party at the hotel's sleek Pose Nightclub. Masters of ceremony Rob Dibble and Johnny Holliday ably guided guests through the exciting evening. This year's event netted over $400,000 which will benefit our cornerstone programs.
